As a somewhat seasoned design professional, I have lost count of the number of times a client has come into the showroom and said they want a classic white kitchen. But as my clients for this project, a professional photographer and floral designer, began to expand on their vision for this remodel, I quickly realized it was something quite dynamic they were looking for: a clean palette that was all about reflecting the light and the seasons from their expansive windows overlooking a stunning property. Couple that with a love of food, family, friends and hands-on cooking/entertaining, and I knew we were headed for something special.
Maple wood with a Nordic white finish and Rockport Recessed doors keep the cabinetry light and airy, clean beauty that avoids distraction. A massive island featuring four solid wood turned legs and wainscot panels anchors the space and provides ample seating for a host of sous chefs. Fifteen mullion glass doors, subway tile backsplash and exposed stainless steel elegantly reflect the changing light throughout the day. And, of course, a Sub-Zero bottom freezer refrigerator, Sub-Zero under counter drawer refrigerator, Wolf range with char grill and ventilation hood provide the quintessential solutions for beauty and functionality.
