Evan H. Levey
Founder and Chief Cabinet Officer
As an entrepreneur with a proven track record, Evan became involved in the cabinet business just before graduating from Rollins College in Florida. Growing up in New York City, he concentrated on learning what went into making a company successful. Evan utilizes his expertise of the technical and operations side of business to keep Columbia Cabinets evolving, modernizing and growing. Evan and his wife, Marissa, are enjoying every minute of being parents to their two young children Blake and Jordan!
Originally from Schenectady, NY, Ray has been involved with cabinetry and design since high school. As a senior designer for Columbia Cabinets, he excelled at the challenges of designing a functional and, at the same time, aesthetically pleasing kitchen. Ray now oversees the design process and operations in all of Columbia Cabinets’ showrooms. When he is not thinking about kitchens, Ray and his wife, Danielle, love spending time with their beautiful children Jack and Gabriella.
Alicia has been in sales and marketing for over three decades. After graduating from Harvard, she managed large call centers in the USA and Canada, transitioning them to the evolving technologies available. Following her passion for cooking and home design, Alicia migrated to Columbia Cabinets, where she has been for over a dozen years. She and her husband are proud parents of a 24 year old son and share a passion for politics, books, yoga, travel and just about any form of culture.
Business Development Associate
Grace knows her way around a kitchen! Her father was an executive chef and her family all love to cook. The kitchen, as for many of us, is the heart of Grace’s home and she has a passion for discovering new flavors and techniques. Grace’s skills are on the administrative side of the business and she loves to support Columbia Cabinets’ talented team of designers. Grace studied classical music in college and her favorite opera is “Carmen” by Bizet. Grace recently welcomed into the world an adorable baby girl, Josephine.
Amy Van Wie
Amy brings a creative edge to her award-winning designs here at Columbia Cabinets. She grew up in East Greenbush, NY and graduated from Cazenovia College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design. Her interest in design began as a child when she received her Barbie mansion. From there, her love for textures, colors and seeing how a room came together grew. When she’s not designing, Amy has been competing in dart tournaments since she was 9 years old. She now competes professionally along the east coast and plays in the local league at Quigley’s in East Greenbush, NY.
Sarah has been creatively designing kitchens for over ten years. Prior to becoming a kitchen designer, she worked as an interior decorator, tying together entire rooms, from paint and wallpaper selections to flooring, lighting and accessories. This experience of focusing on the entire picture makes Sarah particularly well suited for multi-room millwork projects. Sarah grew up in England which adds a historical sensitivity to her designs, When Sarah is not designing, she is instructing Zumba classes, taking amazing photographs, gardening or hiking with her husband and children.
Having received an A.A.S Degree from Sage in Interior Design, a B.A. in Studio Art with a concentration in photography from SUNY Potsdam, a M.S. Ed. in Elementary Education, also from SUNY Potsdam, and an A.A.S in Business Administration online, Angela determined her passion was helping customers design their dream kitchens and baths. Angela has been working in design for over 15 years while raising three beautiful children, Cayla and her twins, Brayden and Jyllian. A lover of the outdoors, Angela’s family enjoys hiking, kayaking, snowboarding and swimming.
A California native, Michele comes from a long line of interior designers, furniture designers, jewelry designers and artists. She has been working in design for over 28 years and has created award winning designs for the Saratoga Showcase of Homes, where she also sat on the committee for two years. Michele’s love of casual easy living shines through her modern family designs. Michele has been married for 34 years with four children and two grandchildren.
Chantrice came to Columbia Cabinets with a BFA in interior design from Cazenovia College. She is passionate about new design trends across a wide spectrum of fields from kitchen design to fashion. Recognizing and leveraging this correlation keeps her designs fresh and exciting. Chantrice values design as a tool to create and improve the way people connect within a space. Out of the design studio, Chantrice loves to travel and gains inspiration in every country she visits.
